What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
