Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
